Eric Frazier, CGCS

Eric was born and raised in Hillsville, Virginia where he grew up in a family business, achieved the honor of Eagle Scout, and completed his Associates Degree in Small Business Management.  After finishing his first degree, Eric enrolled at Virginia Tech and became very involved in Agriculture and specifically the Turfgrass Management Program.  During his time at VT, Eric interned at the Kingsmill Resort and Two Rivers Country Club.  Upon graduation, Eric used his Bachelor's degree in Crop and Soil Sciences to become the Assistant Superintendent at the Westhampton course at The Country Club of Virginia.  Following a stint as the Assistant Superintendent at CCV's Tuckahoe Creek course, Eric accepted the position of Golf Course Superintendent at CCV's Westhampton course.  In 2005, Eric guided Westhampton through a renovation.   In 2008, Eric accepted the Director of Agronomy position at Willow Oaks Country Club.   Eric serves on the board of directors for the Virginia Turfgrass Foundation, and is the past president of the Virginia Tech Agricultural Alumni Board and past president of the Old Dominion Golf Course Superintendents Association.
